Barc 2017 CSE Syllabus Information

Hello friends this is sankalp sharma. I cleared Barc cse 2016 written examination . I will provide you some information about BARC Recruitment of Scientific Officers in the Department of Atomic Energy (Group-A Post of Government of India). Every year BARC recruit scientist but they not given any information about number of post and the syllabus for the written examination. Most of the students actually facing problem because they don’t know how to prepare for the written examination and pattern of written paper.I attempt the written exam two times and cleared in 2016. so i will give u some information about the pattern of written paper and syllabus they covered areas from which mostly questions asked. If you are prepared for Gate 2107 exam then its a cake walk for you to crack the written exam if sincerely revise all the notes and cover two more subjects.

Subjects and Syllabus :

1.Databases :

  •  Normalization(**) and transaction cover most of the questions.
  •  indexing., Sql query less frequency questions.

2.Computer Network :

  •  IP Addressing , Subnetting , supernetting.
  • Application Layer ( DNS , ARP , SMTP , RARP , TFTP , POP , HTTP , Cryptography) Public key and Private key cryptography, digital signatures.
  • Routers and routing algorithms , TCP/UDP and sockets.

3.Operating System :

  • Process , Thread , CPU scheduling and Memory Management.

4.Algorithms :

  • Simple time complexity Questions of sorting and searching.
  • Graph traversal and Tree traversal.

5. Data Structures :
  • Arrays, stacks, queues.
  • linked lists, binary heaps.

 6.C++(Object Oriented Programming Language) :

  • Inheritance , All Types Of Inheritance , Polymorphism.
  • Function Overloading , Function Overriding.
  • Constructor , Copy Constructor , Inline Function.

Suggestion : 

These are the Most Important Subjects BARC written exam point of view. Hardlly one or two questions are from mathematics. (last year in my slot one question from differential equation randomly picked . you can leave mathematics.) From remaining subjects questions are asked in very less frequency. Most of the questions are very simple but arrangemnt of questions are in such a way that after 3-4 questions you will find a lengthy question. Try to avoid these because these question are time consuming. Try to cover all the questions. All the very best.
